News lettersHello,Welcome to the klin isi news letter. I am so sorry it is not getting to you as regularly as I would like, but things have got a little mad around here - for the good. I am now in seven shops - you can check out my web site to see which shops www.klinisi@xtra.co.nz, and I am also working on three new products - So very busy. I have written a few simple, easy to follow facts about two things that I have always felt are totally unnecessary in cleaning products, and still don't understand how some company’s feel no conscience about using these tricks to make us use their products just to make more money with no concern about us or our environment .Enjoy my little points of interest. The truth about bubbles and why we don't need themMany of us see bubbles and think the more bubbles the better the cleaning power. We are not happy if our shampoo or dishwashing liquid doesn't bubble up. We think it is not cleaning properly. We think lots of bubbles = lots of really clean hair, dishes or clothes. But it isn't always the case. The surfactants are the real heroes, they're the basic ingredients that get the job done. Some are better at cleaning than making bubbles, while others are better at making bubbles than cleaning. Sometimes/most times, when you get a lot of bubbles, it's because the manufacturer has added less effective but bubblier surfactants or/and more unnecessary products to make the bubbles last longer to convince us that the product is doing a better cleaning job than it really is. As I have always said, cleaning products should bubble as much as Nature intended, not because man has added more unnecessary products that do damage to us and our environment just to fool us into thinking the product is more effective just because it Bubbles up better. If you have a dishwasher, you know that your dishwashing powder gets the dishes clean without bubbles. Bubbles are pretty and fun in a bubble bath, but apart from that they serve little use when cleaning . Why not use brighteners?Lots of laundry cleaning products use Optical brighteners to whiten your washing. Optical brighteners work by absorbing ultraviolet light and making your clothes look whiter and brighter. Some companies also use them in Toilet cleaners to reflect light. This makes us think our clothes and toilets are cleaner for using products with optical brightener in them. But they are not !The price we pay for our clothes to appear whiter and brighter than they really are can be harmful to both us and our environment. Optical Brighteners love to stick to fabrics and sadly our skin, which can lead to skin rashes and sensitivity. As for the environment the cost is just as high, as Optical brighteners are poisonous to our aquatic life, plus it takes them a long time to break down. So they hang around continuing to do damage. I personally do not like to be tricked into thinking my clothes and toilets are cleaner than they really are. The cost is just too high! As for clothes, the best whitener and brightener is the SUN. Its free, its natural, and its real. So get your clothes out on these lovely sunny day and see real result that are good for us and the environment. Rochelle Klin isi 0274 350224 09 4122511
